Bill Payments

You may pay bills online to the bill payee corporations which are registered with AFFINBANK. To view the list of registered bill payees, click "Payments" menu and then "Bill Payee Maintenance". Under "Bill Payee Maintenance option" select "View All Payees". This list contains all the payee corporations which are registered with AFFINBANK.

Open Payment

  • Customers can pay to any bill payee corporation available without having to register the relevant bill details
  • This is normally used for a one-time payment only

Registered Payment

  • Customers have to register bill details online under "Bill Payee Maintenance" before perform any bill payments.
  • This is to make regular bill payments more convenient for customers.

To perform registration of bill payee accounts, click "Payments" menu and then "Bill Payee Maintenance". Under "Bill Payee Maintenance option" select "Register Payee". Key in the necessary information and confirm your registration. You may also delete registered bill payees accounts, by selecting "Deregister Payee"

affinOnline.com does not charge for this service.

Yes, you may schedule future bill payments – at a future date, or even on a recurring basis. You would able to schedule future bill payments for registered payees only.

If you are making an immediate payment, you will see an "Unsuccessful" message.

If it is a "Future Payment", your payment will not go through on that date.

You are allowed to pay multiple registered payees at the same time.

Yes you can, click "Payments" menu and then "Bill Payee Maintenance". Click at the registered bill payee corporation you wish to change and the click Edit button. You can also select or deselect a registered bill payee corporation from the 'Pay Many' function.

If the payment status is successful, the payment can not be cancelled.

You may view your reference number and other details for Bill Payment at the transaction history of the PAYMENT screen.

Yes you can. To edit or cancel the scheduled payment, click 'Payments' menu and under View Payment , specify the start date and end date of the scheduled payment under Date Range and click on Change View button.

Select the scheduled payment you wish to edit or cancel under the column under Payee click the Edit or Delete button.

It will take 3 working days for your payment to be received by the bill payee corporation.

However, we advised you to make your payments at least 7 working days before the due date.

The bank shall not be liable for any disruption of services or disputes on payment made by you to the Bank on or after the payment date.

No you can't. This service should not be used to pay any disconnection, reconnection, or other charges levied by the Payee Corporations.

Bills paid are subjected to acceptance by the payee corporations.

To start using PosOnline, follow the steps below:

Step 1 
Logon  www.posonline.com.my to register.

Step 2
Once your registration has been successful, log in with your User ID and Password.

Step 3
Select a bill payee and fill in the required bill details.

Step 4
Once you have confirmed the amount and payment details, select AFFINBANK from the drop-down "Payment channels" list.

Step 5
A pop up AFFINBANK Internet Banking login screen will appear asking for your login details. Then follow further instruction to complete the payment process.

To start using Affin Trade, follow the steps below :

Step 1
Logon  www.affintrade.com to register. 

Step 2      
Once your registration has been successful, log in with your User ID and Password.

Step 3      
Click On E-Settlement icon and select the contracts that you wish to settle.

Step 4      
Once you have confirmed the amount and payment details, select Payment mode.

Step 5      
A pop up AFFINBANK Internet Banking login screen will appear asking for your login details. Then follow further instruction to complete the payment process.

No registration is required with JomPAY. Ensure that you have access to your account via affinOnline.com

It’s simple. All you have to do is to look for the JomPAY logo and Biller Code on your bill, logon to your affinOnline.com, and pay.

When you make a JomPAY payment before 17:00 on a Banking Business Day, the Biller will receive payment on the same day. If you make a JomPAY payment after 17:00, the Biller will receive payment on the next Banking Business Day.

If you make a payment on a non-Banking day, such as on a weekend or a public holiday, the Biller will receive payment on the next Banking Business Day.

Yes, you will be able to schedule a payment to occur on a future date.

JomPAY makes it easy to pay a wide range of bills across banks in Malaysia. JomPAY creates an accessible and inclusive bill payment eco-system for customers, Banks and Billers so that all JomPAY Billers are available to all customers of 42 Banks in Malaysia.

Some Billers may impose a limit on the amount payable via certain accounts. Additionally, since JomPAY transactions are performed at affinOnline.com, a daily Internet Banking limit may apply.

It contains unique numbers that your Biller uses to identify you and your bill. Just look for the JomPAY logo on your bill:

A Biller Code is a unique number to identify a JomPAY Biller.

Ref-1 is a unique number used by your Biller to identify you or your bill. Ref-1 is printed next to the JomPAY logo on your bill

Ref-1 could be either fixed or changeable depending on the needs of a Biller. In most cases, Ref-1 is fixed.

  • Click on "Payments" from Main Menu and select "Bill Payee Maintenance" from sub menu.
  • Select on "Register Payee"
  • Select on Security Token option either a SMS Token, USB Token or WEB Token and click on Confirm
  • Click on JomPAY link
  • Key in all the details, click on Next
  • Verify details entered and click on Request TAC hyperlink to request for TAC
  • Enter 6-digit TAC number and click on Confirm
  • Click on "Payments" from Main Menu
  • Select on "Open Payments"
  • Select on Security Token option either a SMS Token, USB Token or WEB Token and click on Confirm
  • Click on JomPAY link
  • Key in all the details, click on Next
  • Verify details entered and click on Request TAC hyperlink to request for TAC
  • Enter 6-digit TAC number and click on Confirm

First of all, check that your payment details are correct including Biller Code, Ref-1 and amount. Ensure your Biller accepts payment from the type of account you are trying to pay from which this is spelled out in the bill or invoice. Check the time you made the payment, if you missed your Bank’s cut - off time, it won’t go through until the next Banking business day (not including weekends or public holidays). If your payment should have already gone through, please contact our Call Center personnel at 0355223000 (Operating hours from 8:00am to 9:00pm, Monday to Friday. Closed on Public Holidays and Weekends). Make sure you have JomPAY Reference No. in hand so they can easily track the payment. JomPAY Reference No. is given upon completion of payment initiation.
